Privacy policy — BuildBrief for Android
BuildBrief: Idea Teardown runs entirely on your phone. It turns a rough idea into a structured teardown using an AI model that lives on your device. In plain terms: it collects nothing, sends nothing, and works offline.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no email, and no name. The idea you type and the teardown the app generates stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
How it works (and why it’s private)
The AI model runs locally on your device. Generating a teardown happens entirely offline — your idea is never uploaded to a server, ours or anyone else’s. The app requests no INTERNET permission, so it cannot send your content over the network even in principle.
The AI model download
To keep the install small, the on-device AI model is delivered by Google Play (Play Asset Delivery) the first time it’s needed. That download is handled by Google Play under Google’s Privacy Policy; BuildBrief itself receives no information from it. Once the model is on your device, the app runs offline.
No analytics, no tracking, no ads
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party data collection of any kind.
About the AI output
The teardown is AI-assisted, may be incomplete, and is for informational use only — a starting point, not professional advice or a full build specification. Review it before relying on it.
Children
BuildBrief is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children. Because it collects no data, it gathers no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
